About the Author:
Kathleen Walker has been writing about the American Southwest and Mexico since her college years at the Universidad de las Americas in Mexico City. She is the author of A Crucifixion in Mexico, San Xavier - The Spirit Endures and San Jan Capistrano - A Place of Peace. Many of her articles on the people, places and history of Arizona and northern Mexico have appeared in the pages of Arizona Highways magazine. A longtime resident of Tucson, Arizona, she has now turned her daily desert treks and tribulations into a series of essays filled with laughter and desert memories.
