About the Author:

Jacqueline Roy is a senior lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and is setting up a writing school together with Carol Ann Duffy, Simon Armitage, Michael Schmidt and Jeffrey Wainwright. Her father, Namba Roy was a sculptor and writer and her sister Lucinda Roy has recently published a novel with Virago.
