About the Author:
Helen Cresswell has over eighty books to her name, including the ever-popular Bagthorpe books, and gripping mysteries such as The Night Watchman, The Watchers and The Secret World of Polly Flint. She also writes for television and has adapted several books for the screen, including The Phoenix and the Carpet. Adrian Reynolds is an award-winning illustrator. Probably best-known for his work on the Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs series (with Ian Whybrow), Adrian Reynolds' first commission was the illustration of Kingfisher's Mystery Stories.
