Three facsimile sketchbooks and one volume of text, set into three trays, housed in brown cloth clamshell case. A sumptuously produced facsimile, in a luxurious presentation. The sketchbooks cover Pollock's early years, 1937-1941, and contain 71 sheets total, in full, vivid color. Accurately reproduced from the Met's originals. 525 copies were produced, of which 500 were for sale. This is number 394. The clamshell case is still in the original white paper wrap, unopened, and housed in the original cardboard shipping box with the Met's details and number. Outer cardboard shipping box has one bumped corner, not affecting contents in any way. Otherwise, the entire assemblage is pristine. This item is very large and heavy, but will be shipped within the USA at NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGE. Foreign shipments will be charged at cost--please email for quote.
