This systematic group assessment process involves group input from start to finish. Together you and team members generate and review data, formulate an assessment, and produce action plans.
You'll get guidelines for working through the 10-step process and activities to use in each step to assist in generating information. Plus, the guidebook indicates your role as facilitator in each step and provides tips on how to best assist the work of the group without being intrusive. The appAndix of group instrumentation provides an excellent resource for gathering data on culture, styles, leadership, practices, and more.

About the Author:
W. BRENDAN REDDY, Ph.D., is professor of Psychology and director of the Institute for Consultation and Training at the University of Cincinnati. He is the co-founder and principal in Reddy-Phillips, a consulting and training organization with clients worldwide. A frequent contributor to professional journals, Reddy is editor of Team Building: Blueprints for Productivity and Satisfaction. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association, a professional member of the NTL Institute, and a member of the OD Network. He received the 1993 Perry L. Rorher International Award for Excellence in Consultation from the consulting division of the American Psychological Association.
