A scarce and scholarly catalog, including two introductory essays, an essay on the influence of Japanese prints and separate essays on each of 35 European artists beginning with Dore and Millet and culminating with Edvard Munch, the greatest modern practitioner of the medium. Detailed notes are provided on each print in the exhibition. Very good except for moderate cover soil.
