Actors covered include Charles Bickford, Andy DeVine, Margaret Hamilton, Peter Lorre, and others of similar repute. After a few paragraphs describing the actor's screen persona and early life, Juran zips perfunctorily through his subject's film career. Although not the only collection on supporting players, this book is more accurate than many of its kind, and the author has concentrated on Hollywood rather than British players.
