This is a softcover first edition book in AS NEW condition, limited to 3,000 copies worldwide. It comes housed in a cardboard slipcase. There are 428 pages with 234 full-bleed duotone plates printed in Italy on heavy matte paper, plus text by James Baldwin (excerpted from "Another Country New York"). The book measures 9.25 x 6.25 x 2 inches. Many of these pictures were originally published in an earlier edition titled "Mo Kuni New York" ("Another Country New York"). This contemporary version of Moriyama's 'outsider' vision of New York City, maintains some of the earlier version's rawness. It was edited and includes an interview with the Artist (in English and Japanese) by Andrew Roth. Roth also designed the book along with Alexander Gelman, Design Machine, New York.
