About the Author:

Author Paul Harrington, an automotive parts sales manager for the past 27 years, lives in Michigan with his wife and three-year-old daughter. Paul enjoys his family, great vacations, computers, and football. In between business and family he finds time to write speculative science-fiction. "I've read many a sci-fi novel only to be disappointed," says Paul. "They never seem to capture the excitement of what it would `really' be like to travel in space. Or they don't show in a realistic way what today's technology might become."

In 2001 Paul's first novel, Light Speed, was released as a free e-book in Microsoft Reader format. A freshly edited print version, Light Speed: Ultimate Destiny, is now available. The book has new artwork and is available at Amazon.com and other online retailers, and fans can order the book from their favorite bookstore.

Paul is tidying up his second book in the series, Light Speed: Struggle for the Stars, and if things go as planned the second installment should be available in time for Christmas. Meanwhile, a third book, tentatively titled Light Speed: Crossing the Void, is Paul's current writing project.
