About the Author:
Connecticut native, Chris Gorman and his wife Michelle Morfitt of Hartlepool England came up with the idea for the Our Place series out of their appreciation for history. They loved reading books to their kids at night where everyone was learning at the same time, themselves included. What better way than to write a local childrens history book for towns that may have been overlooked when it came to an easy to read, accessible reference. They have expanded their books across the country from the original Connecticut series.
Review:
'Written especially for children, this delightful history of Rowayton includes many cherished local landmarks and traditions. An ideal teaching tool for younger children and the perfect keepsake for anyone wishing to reflect on their childhood in this very special town.' --President, Rowayton Historical Society
