About the Author:
Mike Carey has been involved with public education, twenty-six years as schools superintendent in Northern California, the last seven years in Amador as county and district superintendent. He was the Sports Information Director at the University of San Francisco. Carey sponsored county-wide scholastic chess tournaments for thirty years in Marine, Sonoma and Amador counties. He is an educational presenter and motivational speaker.
