"CRS is very user friendly. This is the kind of textbook that students don't mind doing. The goals (objectives) are clear, the exercises are manageable and meaningful, and the chapter review provides a variety of review of skills (i.e. vocabulary, etc). Also CRS is a total package for the developmental student. Each chapter offers comprehension skills but also study strategies (i.e. SQ3R), personal skills (i.e. time management) and a variety of interesting readings."
