About the Author:
Michael Morpurgo has written over one hundred books and won countless awards. He is a tireless champion for children's books and was formerly Children's Laureate for the United Kingdom. In 2011, War Horse was made into a feature film, directed by Steven Speilberg.Rae Smith is a critically-acclaimed stage designer in Britain.
