Life's Road is a collection of writings that came from as the title says, "life's road"; things that were felt, seen, known, feared, rejoiced and survived. The road we all travel, from the time of birth to our last breath, teaches us. Though some lessons we would of wished never to have learned, and others we could not ever imagine of missing. If nothing else I know this to be true. It doesn't matter if it was hard or shattering. It doesn't matter if the warmth that filled you, shine brighter than the sun's morning light. All that matters is you lived. You found, you embraced, you fault, you lost, you won, you learned, you survived. As long as you woke up breathing, you did good. I truly hope that one inside Life's Road either gives hope or help an old wound heal. Since a child I have been seeing stories and poems in everything around me. Writing was very difficult since I am dyslexic. But the problem never slowed me down. From grade school to adult and long time since. Writing has always been my saving grace in whatever life has shown or thrown.
