ABOUT GABRIELA’S WONDER PHONE

Gabriela and Mary, gifted students and close friends, were always interested in telephones. Gabriela started talking about telephones with Mary. She discovered that telephones can do a lot, but there are many things they cannot do. Gabriela and Mary set out to develop a new telephone model that could do more than any of the existing telephones. Gabriela and Mary called it The Wonder Phone, because it has an electronic mirror. The new telephone was well-received, and Gabriela and Mary received the USA Younger Scientist Award for developing The Wonder Phone. Now that this telephone model with a mirror is done, Gabriela and Mary are working harder to develop more powerful telephone models that will have features related to monitoring and improving people’s health. Gabriela’s Wonder Phone, a part of Gabriela The Scientist Series®, is a captivating children’s book with outstanding daily life messages for younger readers who are destined to become important citizens.
