From the Author:
Trip to Mars was a HOOT to write, but unlike the other three books I had written, I had no plan in my head for Trip to Mars.

I was going through some memorabilia one day and I came across a book that my darling Ann had given me some time before she died. "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus", and Ann had given me that book to point out that I was an idiot! She was of course right. I was an idiot, just not willing to admit it.

I looked at the cover, fondly, remembering that day with Ann, and decided that Pokey and Sparky needed to make me feel better and a "Trip to Mars" started flying off my fingers on the keyboard that same day.

I had no idea where the story would lead, I had made no outline or story plan, I just wrote, hoping that I could keep the whole thing together somehow. I get a lot of inspiration from my relationship with God and somehow this book kept coming to me. There was a point where old sci-fi movies came to my memory, men in Black Suits from the movie "Men in Black" happened and I kept writing.

Without giving away the story, let it be said that things usually happen for a reason, and "Trip to Mars" will always mean much more to me than you can imagine. Thanks for giving this "Back Story" a peek, I bet you will enjoy this book whether you are 5 or 65!
