A wise old stork hears them both and arranges for the mer-baby to become part of the human-boy's family as long as the identity of the mer-baby is kept a secret by the human-boy. Everything goes good for awhile, then the mermaid begins searching for her baby. Will the mer-baby's mother find him and bring him home to the sea? Or will the human-boy keep his little brother's secret to keep him on land?
