About the Author:
Paul E. Little and his wife, Marie, worked for twenty-five years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Until his death in 1975, Little was also associate professor of evangelism at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He was the author of several books and articles, including Know Why You Believe.
From AudioFile:
Little's book is a defense of Christianity for the nonbeliever. It is based on questions he has been asked during appearances before college audiences. It also is a spiritual guidebook on how to move from the beginnings of faith to deeper practices. Lloyd James's reading combines the attributes of the author, who was a scholar, pedant, theologian, and counselor. As Little was not a call-down-the-thunder style preacher, neither is James's reading. Instead he delivers a thoughtful presentation in a conversational tone and uses pauses well to emphasize key points. James's narration exactly fits the style of Little's book.
