About the Author:
Howard Zinn was professor emeritus at Boston University. He served as an air force bombardier in World War II and was an active voice in the anti–Vietnam War movement. He was a regular contributor to Progressive magazine and the author of many books, including the bestseller A People’s History of the United States.
