About the Author:

Ben Wong lives on the island of O ahu. His love for the ocean and his lifelong passion for fishing may be attributed to his Hawaiian ancestry. However, it is the Chinese side of his family that claims responsibility for his interest and appreciation for all things culinary. In 1982, Ben began making appearances as an occasional guest on Hawai i s well-loved television cooking show, Hari s Kitchen, the sister program of Let s Go Fishing which premiered in 1969. Currently, Ben produces and hosts the Let s Go Fishing Show for Hawai i s Fox affiliate KHON-TV. Each week, LGF takes its audience throughout the islands and beyond for fishing adventures and culinary experiences. Ben s fishing and culinary expeditions have treated audiences with visits to Tahiti, Guatemala, Alaska, Japan, Oregon, New Zealand, Washington, Micronesia, and, of course, the beautiful islands of his home state of Hawaii.
