From AudioFile:
Just imagine Christopher Robin stepping down the stairway, bumping Pooh Bear behind him. When asked for a story, you cannot resist telling some of your favorite Pooh stories-because telling is better than just remembering. Among the treasures on this multivoiced recording are Pooh's visit to Rabbit's burrow, the balloon escapade to taste a bit of honey, and the dramatic rescue of Piglet. The narrators are superb and collectively bring energy to each adventure. Piglet is squeakily ebullient; Eeyore, as gloomy and slow-voiced as can be; Owl, blustery but as soft as his downy feathers; Pooh, incorrigibly self-centered; and Christopher Robin, loving and wise. Multiple listens are in order! A.R. © AudioFile 2007, Portland, Maine-- Copyright © AudioFile, Portland, Maine
