Synchronicity can be defined as meaningful coincidence, those seemingly random incidents that connect people, objects and events without a recognizable cause. Synchronicity and You is a lively study of the diverse cultures that have explored this phenomenon, and a discussion of anecdotal evidence from individuals who've witnessed the power of synchronicity in their own lives. The significance of coincidence, the author asserts, clearly reveals our parts in the vast tapestry of existence, through which we are all related. Covering such topics as precognition, significant numbers, and shared dreams, this fascinating exploration provides a way to analyze and decode these events, allowing readers to recognize and interpret them, unlocking the deepest secrets of the subconscious and helping to make a powerful and positive impact on their everyday lives.

About the Author:
Frank Joseph is the marketing director of Galde Press and the editor of Ancient American, a bi-monthly archaeology magazine. He is the author of four books and has appeared on "The Art Bell Show", "The Laura Lee Show" and Fox Television's "Strange Universe". He lives in Wisconsin.
From Library Journal:
Joseph, a marketing director at Galde Press who has appeared on Fox Television's Strange America, here presents a way for individuals to find ultimate meaning within the juxtaposition of apparently unrelated events. "Synchronicity"?or meaningful coincidence?"is the long-lost, direct experience with God." Such an experience, Joseph contends, is at once individual and a "materialization of the organizational will of the universe." Joseph provides 17 categories for such experiences and offers meditation as a technique for reflecting on their meaning. From Etruscan to Jungian, a long tradition of monistic esotericism is summoned to support Joseph's teaching: "Synchronicity...is the golden key, searched for by generations of thinkers, to unlock the reality of spiritual existence.... It is our individual lifeline to that Compassionate Mystery that speaks its care to us in symbols meant specifically for us." While Freud is not the psychologist of choice here, some readers may opt for Jung's old teacher: "Freud, as it happens, had a name for this obsessive perception of affinities (he called it paranoia)" (Terry Eagleton, London Review of Books, November 12, 1998). For consideration by larger public libraries.?John R. Leech, New York
