Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin est ne en 1755 et mort a Paris en 1826. Il fut un gastronome francais. Depute du tiers-etat, il se fera remarquer sur le discours de la defense de la peine de mort. Apres un exil de 4 mois, il reviendra en France et rentrera dans l'etat major du Rhin-et-Moselle. La physiologie du gout fera son succes.
