This is a set of two hardcover books presented together in a black folio, printed in white with the titles of the books ("Bodywave" at the top, "Waterdance" at the bottom) along with the Artist's name vertically in the center. There are 80 pages with 85 duotone illustrations. It measures 16 x 12 inches. Like Joel Meyerowitz, in his "The Elements" series, Karl Lagerfeld sees a confluence between water, air, and the human body. In Lagerfeld's images, these things emerge from each other and the water alters our perception of the body in a fundamental way. The images are beautifully composed - nudes in the classic aesthetic.
