About the Author:

Prof. Uma Joshi is Dean, Faculty of Family and Community Sciences, The M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara. She has recently received the Rashtriya Vidya Sarawati Puraskar from IIEM, New Delhi. With a doctorate in Extension and Communication, her career spans over 32 years.
Dr. Rameshwari Pandya completed her Ph.D. in Home Science from The Maharaja Sayaji Rao University Baroda in 1994. She is the recipient of Shrimati Leelaben Shah Gold Medal for her academic excellence. She is a senior faculty member, Family and Community Sciences.
Dr. Avani Tashkant Maniar is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Extension and Communication, The M. S. University of Baroda, Vadodara. She is the Programme Coordinator of the course P.G. Diploma in Development Management run by the department.
