Where, Strand took photos of a country familly - one photo becoming the iconic image for the cover of the book [which was reissued by Aperture in 1997] The book, under review, c 30pp Italian text by Costantini, 2pp Ghirri has 71 photographs taken by Paul's wife, Hazel Kingsbury Strand [a photographer in her own right] on Zavattini's village. Hazel died in 1989 - this book recognizes her contribution to Strand's ' Un Paese'. [Strand d. 1972, Ghirri d. 1992, Costantini d. 1997.] One photo appears to be of Strand with his camera.
