Selling Books on AbeBooks

Just a few books:

There are two ways to sell your books through AbeBooks. If you are a student with some leftover textbooks, or just have a few books to sell, visit our Book Buyback program at http://buyback.abebooks.com/.  From this page, simply search for your items, and check the price offered. Our buyback partner will send you a free mailing label, and when they receive the books from you they'll send you a cheque.

Professional Booksellers:

If you are a professional or hobby bookseller, please sign up for an AbeBooks Bookseller account.

How it Works

  • We charge a small monthly subscription fee based on the number of books you list.
  • You upload your books to AbeBooks using one of our recommended inventory management tools.
  • Buyers order your books through the AbeBooks website.
  • We collect payment for credit card orders on your behalf. You also have to option to accept other payment methods directly.
  • You process your orders online via your AbeBooks Bookseller account.
  • You ship the book directly to the buyer.
