About The Book Room
The Bookman in San Diego, California is a unique charity that donates more than half a million books free each year to deserving readers worldwide. The charity serves the local area as well as more than 50 third-world countries. All book sale revenue is used to purchase new children's books for free distribution. The Bookman is run entirely by volunteers and has no administrative costs.
