13 various printed ephemera relating to food and wine, French and English, various sizes from 4to, 8vo, to two small trade cards, mostly single leaves, some anopisthographic (one-sided). Mostly 19th century, the earliest an 18th century French receipt of Marquet, Rue de la Calandre, and including a beautiful receipt in 4to with an elaborately engraved pictorial heading of Maison Thunot, Place de la Poissonerie, Dijon, a flyer for J.Pursell, biscuit manufacturer., and other trade cards, bills, hotel receipts, including Benjamin Smith's Temperance Hotel in Leeds where no alcohol is served, only tea, coffee, lemonade, ginger beer and cordial.
