James Prior and William Wright.Ninety Two Acres." and another piece of land owned by the Bennetts, with buildings and grounds, in the area owned by Hawxhurst; approx. 15 1/2" x 12 3/4" size; with the witness signatures of Isaac & Jemima Smith, John Bennett, William Bennet & Cornelye Bentnt (Cornelia Bennett), with the old paper-covered red wax seals at bottom; on back is a signed affidavit of the correctness of this document and that Cornelia was not coerced into signing; by Stephens Frost ".one of the Judges of the Court of Common Pleas."; William Hawxhurst was the son of Samson Hawxhurst and Hannah Townsend; some edge, tips wear. old fold lines to paper, old tape repairs on back; one small closed tear; overall, in very good condition; and interesting Oyster Bay Long Island community, commercial history & reference.
