Almost no wear to extremities, covers clean and bright, gilt bright, else near fine with no internal markings. Glassine jacket is somewhat darkened with a couple of minor tears, but with nothing missing. All in all in extraordinary condition given such a fragile piece now more than 60 years old. The Children's Home at Cromwell, Connecticut began as the Swedish Christian Orphanage in 1900. It was founded as a home for neglected children of Swedish immigrants. It was administered by the Evangelical Mission Covenant Church of America.
