Title: 1937 Blueprint for Special Police Patrol ...

Publisher: Midland Utilities, Inc., Whitestone New York

Publication Date: 1937

Book Condition: Good

Description:

Giving a side view and top view of this 38-foot Special Police Patrol Boat; blueprint approx. 18" x 24" size, with the scale 1/2" = 1'; good details and nicely drawn: boat carried Sterling 6 cyl dolphin, twin 110-gallon gasoline tanks, gun and ammunition lockers, radio, Pullman berths, Arcola Heater, lifeboat carried atop rear cabin area; we note that the Mystic Seaport Henry B. Nevins, Inc. Shipyard Collection holds a Nedwidek design, evidently built by Nevins and that Nedwidek was fairly well-known in boat design, having published several collections of the same with other naval architects; rolled for many years, some splitting, creasing along old lines; with some soiling, overall, in good condition and interesting Police equipment and naval architecture ephemera.
