Offset, staple-bound booklet, of texture green card stock with cut out window and a parchment backing with a shining candle and poinsettia design, centered, Decorative red cord with tassel as an accent. Embossed floral parchment back end paper. Silver gilt titles on the front cover and silver gilt decoration on rear cover. In good condition with the exception of a small stain at the top left corner and wear and tear to the outside edge of the offset portion of the binding, Rear cover shows 2" closed tear. Christmas Dinner Program for the first Christmas after the US became involved in WWII. Pearl Harbor had just been bombed on Dec. 7th, this dinner was served as many of these fine veterans were being shipped overseas. The opening pages of the program include the menu for the evening.
