'When we accept Christ and step into his kingdom, the Spirit comes as part of the package. Being charismatic is not an option, it's a command!' He may be a reluctant charismatic, but John Leach believes that charismatic renewal is nothing more or less than authentic mainstream New Testament Christianity. To avoid it is to distance oneself from much that God has promised for his people. The Spirit Comes (as Part of the Package) presents a powerful and convincing case for renewal. It addresses the objections of those who see it as a mass apostasy or as a denial of the Bible. And it takes a look at renewal in action and shows how it works in practice. After all, if this is how Christians were meant to be, those people and churches which have been touched by it should exhibit health and vitality. So why should your read this book? Quite simply because renewal is for everyone.
