Review:

'Downton Abbey is what television should be.' Simon Heffer, Telegraph 'The sets and costumes are ravishing, the attention to detail painstaking and the performances are brilliant. But above all, it's a cracking story.' The Times 'A sumptuous, accomplished piece of television' Guardian 'Sundays won't be the same without Downton: In an age of patronising, tacky television, Downton Abbey was a true British gem.' Max Hastings, Daily Mail
