Review:

"Exciting, and highly approved." J.R.R. Tolkien"This book has real splendour, compelling moments and a flowing narrative." New York Times"An extravagant mingling of dream and realism...excellent and thrilling reading." Daily Telegraph"Remarkable... a rare power of inventive imagination" Times Literary Supplement
