About the Author:
Since his debut children's book published in 2008, David Walliams has taken the literary world by storm and is the biggest British children's author to debut this century. His most recent novel, AWFUL AUNTIE, was published in September 2014 and was the overall bestselling book in the UK for a sensational six weeks. Selling over half a million copies in just three months, it became the biggest selling book of 2014. His previous novel, DEMON DENTIST, sold more than half a million copies in less than a year, and the paperbacks of his other titles continue to dominate the UK charts. David's books have been translated into 40+ languages and have sold over 6 million copies in the UK alone. His books have also achieved unprecedented critical acclaim - RATBURGER, DEMON DENTIST and AWFUL AUNTIE, have all won the National Book Awards Children's Book of the Year. Tony Ross was born in London in 1938. His first book was published in 1972, and since then Tony has written over 100 books and illustrated over 2000, including the bestselling Horrid Henry series. Two of his creations, Towser and The Little Princess, have been turned into TV series. Tony lives in Wales. Miranda Hart's excursion to the Edinburgh Festival in 1994 began her journey to becoming one of the UK's top comedians. After ten years on the stand-up and sketch club circuit, she made her mark appearing in Smack the Pony, Absolutely Fabulous, Hyperdrive and Not Going Out, but it was when her sitcom Miranda hit screens in 2009, that her popularity rocketed. She has since been crowned the Queen of Comedy at the British Comedy Awards as well as winning three RTS Awards for Best Comedy Performance. Rob was born in Swansea and studied drama at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He commenced his professional life as a radio and television presenter for BBC Wales.
