James Ludwig has written throughout his life, albeit through various forms. As a management/training consultant he created many seminars and related materials. Most notable was "Communicating for Results," purchased by Fortune 100 companies such as Chase Morgan Bank, General Electric, Inc, Pfizer, Inc, Master Card, Eli Lillie, Inc, PG&E, and British Petroleum. Ludwig became disabled with chronic fatigue syndrome in 2002 and reduced his training and consulting activities to part-time. Since then, he became a song writer, writing the lyrics and music and co-producing two albums - "Jazz Menagerie" and "Shadow man." Ludwig worked with artists like vocalist Tony Lindsay (of Santana) and Curtis Ohlson, former bass player for Ray Charles. Also, as a long standing student/teacher of languages, Jim has created his own style of learning/teaching languages and related materials called Direct Path ESL. He refined this teaching process by working with his many Spanish speaking English students in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2010, Ludwig wrote "Shadow man," his first novel. He is currently working on the sequel. Ludwig lives with wife Noriko and their three dogs in San Francisco, California.
