SYNOPSIS: "Thomas Berren, Ph.D., was asked to participate in a new mission. There was a suspected network of opium traffickers operating in Southeast Asia. But with that absurd war and the various battlefronts in the area, the trail over which the drugs were being smuggled out ran close to the war zone, but the factory manufacturing the drugs was in the Himalayas. The drugs are smuggled through the closely guarded terrain of Jammu and Kashmir and out of a dozen ports along the Arabian Sea. Berron went on the mission, partly because there was a chance he might uncover the whereabouts of his missing friend and colleague en route. He was given the help of a massive Scotsman and a dastardly Turk to climb across and through some of the most dangerous segments of the Himalayas."
