About the Authors

Bill and Jan Moeller have lived a mobile lifestyle for more than 20 years. At present, the Moellers live fulltime in their fifth-wheel trailer and travel the year round. In addition to writing books, including RV Electrical Systems (Ragged Mountain Press, 1995), the Moellers also write a nationally syndicated newspaper column about RVing.

Bill and Jan Moeller were cruising sailors and liveaboards for more than 20 years before moving aboard a “land yacht”―an RV―where they found a very similar lifestyle on America’s highways. The fourth of their liveaboard sailboats was a 32-foot cutter in which they traversed the ICW more than a dozen times. Their frustration with existing guidebooks led them to develop this book―the only one designed to be used at a steering station on the ICW in conjunction with a chart. Every few years the Moellers return to the ICW to update their guide.
