Terrell, late of the University of California, San Diego. Tracy Terrell was an innovative practitioner and researcher in the areas of Second Language Acquisition and Foreign Language Teaching Methods. He is best known as creator of The Natural Approach and as co-author of Dos mundos, Deux mondes and Kontakte, the very successful beginning texts for Spanish, French and German which are based on that approach.
