He has a wide range of experience as a software developer, designer and architect in computer and telecommunication industries spanning more than fifteen years. He worked in the areas of networking protocols, network management protocols, and TMN.
Mr. Udupa has a B. Sc (Engg) in Mechanical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, an M. E. in Mechanical Engineering from Calcutta University, and an M. S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He holds two patents and has published many technical articles.
