This "reader friendly" book, useful mainly as a supplementary tool for a course on Comparative World Religion, is written, hand-lettered, and totally illustrated by the professor-artist, Carl Moravec. It's attractive format, with maps, charts, and endless drawings, can give the student a pleasing first impression of the subject. The book aims at teaching approximately eight ideas per page. So far, it has received high approval from the "image-oriented generation" of students. Here is a "pedagogical driving force" that tries to present the essential spirit of each religion in a pleasing, understandable manner.
