This text/workbook is intended to be used in a Psychological Statistics course being required before or concurrently with a Psychological Methods course. It assumes that the student has had some previous statistics instruction and at least high school algebra. The text is briefer than most available texts and features a page of Information and Exercises for each page of text. In the I&E pages, which are arranged opposite to each text page, definitions, additional information, solved exercise examples, historical notes and practice exercises are presented. The book is keyed to an appendix containing instructions for the use of the SPSS statistical package, but can be easily modified to key to some other statistical program. Solutions to all exercises are included in an appendix as are all necessary statistical tables. Additional review exercises are included at the end of each section.
