John Farman attended Harrow Art School followed by the Royal College of Art. After completing his Masters degree he worked in the advertising industry until his departure to become a full-time writer and illustrator. He is the author of several children's books, including The Very Bloody History of Britain (without the boring bits), The Very Bloody History of London, C.R.A.P. (A Collection of Rotten Adult Principles) and Jesus: The Teenage Years. He lives in London.About the Author:
John Farman was born in Luton, Bedfordshire in 1944. After school, having failed at most of his 'O' levels including Art and History, he went on to Harrow Art School and onto The Royal College of Art where he successfully obtained an MA in Design. He worked for many years as a commercial illustrator and cartoonist but at the age of 41 decided that he wanted a complete change so he started writing. John Farman now lives in London.
