Synopsis
Highlights of this volume include two chapters on mental retardation: one presents a model for teaching self-instruction in order to promote independent skill performance and the other reviews self-instructional training on the adaptive functioning of persons with mild to severe mental retardation. Other topics explored include the use of computer technology for behavioural therapy, prevention of injuries, behavioural interventions with adolescents, and recent trends in the behavioural assessment and treatment of brain impairment.
