Grant B. Goold is Program Director of the EMS Education Center at American River College in Sacramento. Grant holds a Master's Degrees in Public Administration and Health Services Administration. He holds a Doctorate in Education with special emphasis on educational technology from the University of San Francisco.
Grant serves on the Board of Directors for Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. Grant provides training consultation to several childcare corporations and is currently developing training programs for the amusement park industry. He has authored several books on personal leadership, workplace safety, and prehospital first aid. Grant encourages comments on how to improve this pediatric first aid manual.
Paul F. Marmen is the director of the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Resource Center at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is also the Manager of the Section of General Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Services, Department of Pediatrics at Children's Hospital, Oklahoma University Medical Center.
Paul holds a Master's degree in Professional Health Occupations Education and is the co-author of the Injury Prevention and First Care program for pediatric first aid used to educate childcare providers in Oklahoma. He is a member of the Oklahoma Healthy Child advisory council and currently serves in an advisory capacity on several state level committees and training programs for emergency medical services advocating improved pediatric emergency care and education. He has a 30-year career in health care, the last 18 years in EMS, and continues to work part-time as an EMT.
