About the Author:

Randy Navarre, DMA (University of Maryland) has been active in music education for over 25 years, beginning as a music teacher in Philadelphia in 1973. He has developed instrumental music programs at the grade school level and directed clinics for high school band directors. He is founder of Northeastern Music Programs, Inc., which provides general and instrumental music programs to schools in the Mid-Atlantic region.
