About the Author

Jon Wiles is a professor of education at the University of North Florida at Jacksonville and Joseph Bondi is a professor of education at the University of South Florida at Tampa. Both received their doctoral degrees from the University of Florida and they have served in various educational rolesas teachers, school and college administrators, and researchers. Their consulting firm of Wiles, Bondi, and Associates has conducted practice in forty states and ten foreign countries.

In addition to Curriculum Development: A Guide to Practice, Sixth Edition, Jon Wiles and Joseph Bondi have coauthored a number of other education books, including Curriculum Planning: A New Approach (1974), Supervision: A Guide to Practice, Fifth Edition (Merrill/Prentice Hall, 2000), The New American Middle School: Educating Preadolescents in an Era of Change (Merrill/Prentice Hall, 2001), Practical Politics for School Administrators (1981), Principles of School Administration (1983), and The School Board Primer (1985).
