"This book will help lessen the mystery and fear in pursuing NBCT. The guiding questions, activities, tables, and explanations help clarify and reinforce information candidates need to know while still emphasizing the use of the material provided by NBPTS. I wish this book would have been around when I was working towards my certification. The questioning prompts about reflection and evidence are invaluable."

 - Terri Foughty, National Board certified teacher , Newcastle Public Schools, Newcastle, OK

"The word which comes to mind is comprehensive… informative and easy to read; it is designed in such a way as to be used throughout the process, not just read and passed on."

- Jason A. Schmid, National Board certified teacher, Oak Harbor Middle School , Oak Harbor , WA
